A Delicious Easter Treat
Chocolate nests are about the easiest and most delicious treats you can make – and they’re not just for the kids!
Prepare a 12 muffin tin with paper cases of your choice
200g plain or milk chocolate (or a mix)
1 tbsp Golden Syrup
50g salted butter
50g corn flakes, rice crispies or broken up shredded wheat.
mini eggs of your choice
Put the broken up chocolate, butter & golden syrup in a small, heavy based pan and melt slowly until velvety. Add the dry ingredients and ensure everything is fully coated. Work quite quickly to spoon enough into each case, taking care to make a little dent in the middle. Place mini eggs in the centre to create your nest. Place in the fridge for at least an hour to set.
