Maggies Studio and Gallery

Artist and Gallery Owner Maggie Hollinshead shares her working week between her studio in Stone, Staffordshire where she works in Textiles and Mixed Media and her Gallery over the border in Newport Shropshire, where she showcases the work of British Designer Makers.

The Coachman’s House Gallery offers a bespoke Picture Framing Service alongside a varied range of contemporary applied arts and vintage finds.

Maggie also runs a number of different creative Workshops at the Gallery, Studio and other venues.  These vary, but often include ’Creating Your Own Visual Diary’, ’Designing for Stitch’ and ’Creative Mark Making’.  In addition to this Maggie is a Mentor with over twenty years of experience.  She brings her creativity and her natural positivity together when hosting One2One and group sessions.  Maggie also writes, particularly in relation to her Mentoring and gives talks.

Maggie regularly runs Creative Sessions within a local Mental Health Trust via the Arts for Health project.  This is enjoyable and rewarding work which enables Maggie to demonstrate very practically how she combines sharing her creative abilities whilst using some of her mentoring techniques to provide a positive and inclusive environment.
