Sally Atkins is a craft artist who lives in Lichfield. Her artwork is based on the recognisable and the familiar, the buildings and streets that existed in our childhood or in a dream village we would love to live. It’s nostalgic and stirs memories of happy holidays and sunny times.
Sally uses reclaimed wood, or other found items for each piece for the story that is being told. Then by using her paint brush creates the scene using colours that bring joy and a smile of recognition of places we have known or have dreamt about. Each piece is unique, a one off.
House portrait commissions welcome.
