Garden Party in aid of Parkinson’s UK Telford Branch
Saturday 24th June from 12pm to 5pm
Dorothy Clive Gardens are hosting this event in aid of the memory of Dorothy Clive who was the inspiration behind this beautiful 12acre hillside garden and who suffered from Parkinson’s disease. Visitors are invited to come and enjoy a glass of Prosecco and a mouth-watering cream tea on their tearoom lawn whilst listening to madrigals and motets from the sixteenth century, including some Cipriano de Rore c. 1516, performed by the Little Moreton Singers. There will also be a tombola with fantastic prizes in aid of Parkinson’s, as well as chance to meet key researchers into Parkinson’s disease from Keele University Medical School. A percentage of the gate fee will be donated to Parkinson’s UK Telford Branch.
