Tiffin is a deliciously simple treat from childhood that delights even the sophisticated palette. Your imagination is your only limit!
25g Muscovado Sugar
3tbsp Cocoa Powder
4 tbsp Golden Syrup
225g crushed digestive biscuits (replace some of this with added nuts/dessicated coconut/raisins – just get inventive!)
225g chocolate (milk, white or dark)
Line a square baking tin with greaseproof paper. Melt the butter, sugar, cocoa & golden syrup in a pan until all melted and dissolved. Add your dry ingredients and stir thoroughly. Press into your tin and pop in the fridge for a couple of hours until cold. Finally melt your chocolate and pour onto the top. Pop back in the fridge until set. Cut up and enjoy.
